Assistant Zoning and Code Enforcement Officer
Towamencin Township is seeking a part-time Assistant Zoning and Code Enforcement Officer. Functions include but are not limited to: application and permit processing; final inspections; attend monthly Planning Commission Meetings; provide general land use and detailed zoning information to the public; regularly interpret and enforce the Township’s adopted codes and related rules and regulations; U & O inspections of curbs and sidewalks; and meet residents to review and provide guidance on zoning, code violations and drainage issues. This role requires critical thinking skills, the ability to multi-task, effectively problem solve, gather and analyze data and make sound judgements. Applicants must possess a high school diploma supplemented by four or more years of progressive experience, local government preferred, and a valid PA driver’s license. Schedule to be determined.
