Salary and Schedule:
First shift: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Hourly pay: $17.50-$18 per hour gross
- 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
Second shift: 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
- Hourly pay: $19 per hour gross
- 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
Third shift: 12:00 am – 8:00 am
- Hourly pay: $21-$22 per hour gross
- 5 days a week, Monday to Friday

Overview:
Operate various production equipment as assigned. This position reports directly to the LDM Supervisor. Will also take direction from LDM Production Manager and various departmental Supervisors and Lead people. They will be required to follow any other instruction and to perform any other duties requested by their Supervisor.

Duties and responsibilities:

- This position mandates that all required safety classes, trainings, and certifications be completed and maintained within the specific position/department.
- Is aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives.
- This position requires an employee to work their regularly scheduled shift; ability to work overtime and weekends. ▪ Must be aware and comply with related ISO/IATF procedures, as applicable.
- Under the "continuous improvement" philosophy, all work should maximize machine capacity to improve net/pieces per hour and increase throughput.
- Use lot cards and Work Instructions (WI).
- Use Visual Limit Sample Boards and various reference materials.
- Set Up Sheets and their purpose, if applicable.
- Know who are some of the “go-to” people – Lead, Supervisor, Manager, QA.
- Know authorized/trained personnel for more technical issues (i.e. chemicals, Authorized LOTO).
- Utilize verification requirements and verify that lot cards have all previous operations signed off.
- Operate various production equipment, as workload demands.
- Ensure parts produced are regularly inspected for quality as outlines by the McGard Quality Standards. ▪ Operate and maintain various equipment as directed by area Lead.
- Produce quality parts as directed by LDM quality procedures.
- Understand how & why keeping a work area clean & organized & how it relates to safety. ▪ Perform various secondary operations with safety equipment.

Education and/or work experience:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Up to three (3) months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Safely perform all required tasks by properly using protection equipment (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, guards, etc.).
