Operating Engineers Apprenticeship Program
IUOE LOCAL 571 TRAINING FUND
Location: Omaha, NE

We are accepting applications for the Operating Engineers Apprenticeship Program.

All applicants must be able to proficiently understand, speak and write in the English language.

Minimum Qualifications are:
18 years old
• Valid driver's license and have a current DMV report
• Certified copy of birth certificate
• Social security card, high school diploma or GED
• Physically capable of performing the duties of an Operating Engineer
• Able to pass a drug screen (DOT).

The applicant needs to include a $25 non-refundable administrative fee, payable with a money order only to the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 571 Training Fund. Cash or personal checks will NOT be accepted.

The time frame to bring the minimum qualification documents, read our Standards of Apprenticeship, and fill out an application is from November 18, 2024 - December 20, 2024. Site closed on November 28 - 30.

This process will take some time as each applicant will be required to read the Standards of Apprenticeship before being given an application.
